Weather can indeed be a great factor in home remodeling projects. When the weather is fine, paints, cements, or asphalts can dry faster. Contractors can also finish the project sooner and there will be lesser hindrance to the delivery of the materials.

I do love fire pits but I wish Vancouver would be less strict on letting us use them in our backyards. I have a couple of friends that live in Maple Ridge and they use theirs all the time so I am over there quite a bit enjoying the their fire pit. But with the weather being typical Vancouver rainy weather haven’t been out there much.

Nice article by the way. Like the new look of the website.

Great Blog!! Yes as a guy I love in floor heating in the bathroom and Heat Pumps are awesome for the right enviroment. My main question though is how much do you spend in order to attract the buyers? And how much is too much? Is there a proper ROI actually?

Agree with all of the above!! In floor heat and heat pumps are huge for most of us guys. I guess the main question is how much do you spend to get the buyers attention?

It seems that the division between outdoors and in is slowly beginning to blur in many regions of the world. The elements you’d find in a modern kitchen or living room is being extended outdoors, integrating the whole proprty, rather than there being a clearly demarcated split between house and yard.

I find this fascinating. For the reasons that a property is more efficiently used alone, it’s an encouraging trend for those who live in areas that allow it.
